Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Team India’s veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has sparked speculation about his future after making a small change to his Instagram bio recently.
Several observant users noticed today that Bhuvneshwar removed the word ‘Cricketer’ from his bio. Previously described as an Indian cricketer, the swing bowler’s current profile simply states ‘Indian’.
The change has triggered several fans to question whether the veteran pacer has played his last match for the Men in Blue.

Notably, Bhuvneshwar has not played any competitive cricket, including domestic matches, since the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Moreover, what adds to the mystery is that the swing bowler has not been reported as injured.
The 33-year-old pacer last played for India in November of last year, during a T20I match in New Zealand. However, he was subsequently dropped for the home series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Bhuvneshwar was also not included in the Indian squad for the three ODIs against Australia. Despite playing in all the 14 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the cash-rich league, the veteran pacer has not been seen in action since then.
