Mohammed Siraj always keeps coming back at batters, says Ab de Villiers

Former South African legend Ab de Villiers lauded Team India speedster Mohammed Siraj’s attitude by saying that the Indian fast bowler is respected as he never gives up trying and always ‘keeps coming back’.

“Siraj is still young even though we have been seeing him for ages. We are very familiar with that face and that bowling action. What stands out for him is his attitude. We have spoken about this before on this series,” De Villiers said on his official YouTube channel.

“Attitude can really uplift you. If you never give up, if you make your attitude catch up with your teammates, the fans want you. That is where you start doing special things on the park,” he added.

“Siraj always keeps coming back. He is always in your face. The bowlers who are respected most are those who never give up. They are always in your face and that is what Siraj does. He is not afraid of trying the short ball, he is there in the batter’s face. He is always trying to get you out. And Sri Lanka certainly felt that in the Asia Cup final,” said the former 360 degree batsman.
