Former Team India captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) star batsman Virat Kohli is one of the most popular cricketers across the globe. The aggressive right-handed batter, who is married to actress Anushka Sharma, enjoys a massive fan following across social media platforms. He is also a loving father to his sweet and cute daughter Vamika.

During a high-voltage match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) between RCB and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), a photo of a little boy holding a placard for Kohli grabbed the attention of netizens. The kid holding the placard made a special request to Kohli and Anushka. The placard read, “Hi Virat uncle. Can I take Vamika on a date?”

The video and picture of the incident broke the internet and soon became the talk of the town. Several netizens slammed the parents of the kid for his insensitive gesture.

Responding to the post, a fan wrote, “I shudder to imagine how creepy and insensitive the kid’s parents are. The kid looks innocent - often it is the parent leading kids the wrong way. All for a moment of camera time?”

“Your dad might have got 2 min. Attention, but this is wrong in so many angles, not funny at all. Wrong parenting!!,” another user tweeted.

Responding to the unsavoury post, a third user commented, “Here is something wrong with parenting, idk why people are finding it cute.”
