Both Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are promising cricketers of the Indian cricket team. They are fierce competitors on the ground. However, they enjoy good friendship off the field.
Their close relationship was displayed again when the duo met each other on the sidelines of the practice session at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As Shubman entered the ground, Ishan greeted him by cheekily slapping him. Later, Gill also returned the favour by doing the same.
The banter and laugh by both the youngsters was captured in a video and the clip has been shared by Mumbai Indians (MI) on their various social media handles.
The video has reportedly gone viral. It has so far garnered around 22 lakh likes. Fans have also flooded the comment box with amusing comments.
Reacting to the hilarious video, a fan wrote, “Friendship like ishan and gill.”
“Did anyone know why ishan slapped gill?” another fan tweeted.
“yrr ye kitna awesome hai,” a third user commented.
Notably, Ishan and Shubman were also roommates on India tours. While Ishan got the landmark double century against Bangladesh in an ODI last year in December, Shubman joined Ishan in the elite list with a fine double century against New Zealand next month in January.
