Chennai Super Kings (CSK) coach Stephen Fleming heaped massive praise on the coaching staff of Gujarat Titans ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final between both the teams at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Fleming hailed GT coach Ashish Nehra for his knowhow of the game. The former New Zeamand captain said that he really loves Nehra’s enthusiasm and has massive respect for him.

“I like GT’s coaching staff a lot. They are really balanced guys. Ashish Nehra has got a really good grasp of the game. His enthusiasm is really high. We have a huge amount of respect for what they have done but it is very hard to go back to back,” said Fleming.

Fleming also revealed about the mood in CSK camp ahead of the high pressure final match.

“The game doesn’t change but the outcome does. It’s really hard not to look too far ahead and dream of winning it again. To be a part of it is what we sit out to do. That’s our purpose,” said Fleming.

Notably, CSK will play in the 10th IPL final on Sunday. If they manage to win the final against GT, they will be able to win the fifth IPL tile alongside Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, if defending champions GT manage to win, it will be their second consecutive title.
