With a career spanning over 13 years, Ravindra Jadeja is regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in the game of cricket. While cricket is an integral part of his life, another important thing that is close to Jadeja is his wife Rivaba Jadeja. 

There is an interesting story behind Ravindra Jadeja’s marriage with Rivaba Jadeja, an MLA from Jamnagar North assembly constituency in Gujarat.

Very few people know that Ravindra Jadeja's love story with Rivaba culminated in marriage because of the latter's sister Naina Jadeja. Before their marriage in 2016, Naina and Rivaba were close friends and one day Naina organised an informal meet between the two. 

Her sister constantly was in touch with the two and told them to meet on numerous occasions just to build a healthy foundation before getting married. It will be imperative to say that her sister did play a crucial role in making the marriage of Ravindra Jadeja possible. 

After the informal meet, Jadeja and Rivaba started dating each other for 3 months before getting hitched on February 5, 2016.

Rivaba was seen everywhere supporting Ravindra Jadeja in cricket stadiums whether playing for India or Chennai Super Kings. 

After making his debut in 2009, he has been an instrumental figure in the Indian team and played many match-winning innings for India. Jadeja is always praised for his fielding efforts by cricket experts.
