Marco’s Unni Mukundan to headline PM Narendra Modi’s biopic Maa Vande, check details

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Silver Cast Creations made a landmark announcement- a new biopic titled Maa Vande: The Anthem Of A Mother. The film will chronicle the inspiring journey of PM Modi, with Malayalam star Unni Mukundan stepping into his shoes. The ambitious project is produced by Veer Reddy M and directed by Kranthi Kumar CH.

Known for his impactful performances in Malayalam cinema, Unni Mukundan is set to take on one of the most challenging roles of his career. As the chosen face of the Prime Minister, Mukundan will explore not just the political milestones but also the deeply personal side of Modi’s life, making the role both demanding and rewarding.

Reportedly, Maa Vande promises to present Narendra Modi’s journey in a multidimensional way, tracing his rise from humble beginnings to becoming the Prime Minister of India. A special focus will be on his relationship with his late mother, Heeraben Modi, offering audiences a glimpse into the personal influences that shaped his life and leadership. Powerhouse Technical Team

Backing the vision of the filmmakers is a strong technical crew. The cinematography will be handled by K.K. Senthil Kumar, while celebrated production designer Sabu Cyril brings his creative expertise. Ravi Basrur, known for his powerful scores, will compose the music, with Sreekar Prasad managing the editing table. Action sequences will be choreographed by King Solomon, promising grandeur and authenticity.

'Best 45 minutes' in Unni Mukundan's Life

Notably, Unni Mukundan met PM Modi on April 24, 2023, at the BJP's Youth conference 'Yuvam 23' in Kochi. This meeting was a long-held dream for Unni, who had envisioned conversing with Modi since his teenage years, particularly in Gujarati. The duo interacted for 45 minutes, during which PM Modi greeted Unni in Gujarati with "Kem cho Bhaila," leaving a lasting impression. Unni expressed immense joy and gratitude, calling the meeting the "best 45 minutes" of his life. He also appreciated Modi's advice, stating he would implement it and never forget their conversation. Unni shared photos and heartfelt posts about the encounter on social media, showcasing his excitement.
