After his contract was terminated from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player in the Portugal squad at the FIFA World Cup 2022 who is without a club.

Following the exit of the superstar from the Red Devils, Ronaldo has been linked with many clubs. However, a whopping 200 million Euros per year salary offer has reportedly come from Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr recently.

While some reports suggest that a deal between the two parties has already been reached, the 37-year-old forward has finally broken the silence on the rumours.

As per reports, Ronaldo denied having reached an agreement with Al Nassr. When asked about the rumours, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner said that the news was false.

Notably, Ronaldo has a tumultuous time over the last few months as he has been embroiled in a series of controversies. He had a terrible falling out with Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag following which Ronaldo and United decided to part ways.

Ronaldo was dropped from Portugal squad in their first knockout match against Switzerland in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Moreover, it does not look like he will be in the starting XI against Morocco in Portugal’s quarter-final match.
