National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Baijayant Panda on Sunday asserted that party workers are more enthused under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party will do wonders in the upcoming elections in Odisha.

Emerging after the BJP’s National Convention held in New Delhi, the BJP stalwart told media that thousands of workers drawn from each mandal, district and state of the country took part in the National Convention of the world’s largest party.

“Their participation in large numbers showcased their enthusiasm. Our Prime Minister is the most popular leader not only in the country but also in the world. Our activists are very encouraged by the address and guidance of the Prime Minister. The country is swept by a wave,’ he said.

He further stated that the Prime Minister called upon the party workers to intensify their efforts to ensure the party’s victories in the upcoming elections. Victories of the party are necessary to take the country forward.

“The BJP has a target of winning 370 Lok Sabha seats while the NDA is to cross the 400 target. Our party workers have been making that much effort day and night to meet the targets. In the next 100 days, we all have to make relentless efforts. All the leaders and party workers have come out with such determination and commitment,” he said.

“In the last 10 years, Bharat has witnessed a lot of change. It is visible everywhere. If you look at the political level, the BJP has formed governments in some states especially the northeast states where our chance of entry was dismissed 10 years ago. We have improved a lot in West Bengal and Odisha. Even in Telangana, our vote share has doubled and you (media) will see wonders this time,” he said.
