Odisha Youth Loses Fingers In Explosion While Conducting Experiment Watching YouTube

In an unfortunate incident, a Plus 2 passed youth suffered critical injuries on his hand after an explosion while he was conducting experiments using electrical equipment by watching YouTube tutorials.

The youth has reportedly lost five fingers on his left hand due to the blast during the experiment his house but he narrolwly escaped before sustaining any more damage in the mishap on Friday.

The incident took place at Gopinathpur village under Sadar police limits. The youth, Krushna Chandra Behera, was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.

According to sources, Krushna Chandra, often experiments with different electronic equipment after gaining knowledge from YouTube. Today, he saw a model in YouTube and was experimenting with it when it exploded.  Five fingers of his left hand were blown off in the explosion.

He was initially admitted to the district headquarters hospital in a critical condition. However, he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after his condition worsened.
