Mentally ill Chhattisgarh youth goes on stabbing spree in Bhubaneswar, 2 injured

Tension gripped VSS Nagar area in Bhubaneswar on Monday after a youth went was a stabbing spree leaving at least two persons injured.

Tension gripped VSS Nagar area in Bhubaneswar on Monday after a youth went was a stabbing spree leaving at least two persons injured.

The youth hailing from neighbouring Chhattisgarh is stated to be mentally unstable. The reason behind the attack is still unclear.

After the attack, the youth was overpowered by some locals who then handed him over to the police.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
