In a bizarre incident, a Kangaroo court in Odisha imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on a woman and her son and threatened to ostracise them from society. The court passed the diktat while settling a trivial fight between two kids. 

The shocking incident didn't take place in any remote area or any village. It occurred in the heart of the Capital City.

According to reports, two children got into a fight over some issue on Sunday. The fight intensified when the families of both the kids joined in. Later, a local woman organisation intervened in the matter and held a Kangaroo Court.

One among the minor boy and his mother were summoned up by the woman organisation and were forced to kneel down in full public view. The mother-son duo was allegedly verbally abused by Kangaroo court members. Moreover, they threatened the duo of ostracising from the locality and imposed a fine of Rs 5000.

Meanwhile, such an incident of holding Kangaroo Court in Bhubaneswar has raised eyebrows of many.
