Akhaya Kumar has called upon Odisha people to make the ‘Odisha Bandh’ successful. He has decided to launch special drives across the state to motivate people to join him on July 19. As per his strategy, he will call upon Bhubaneswar residents on July 14 and July 15 to participate in the Bandh. On July 16 and July 17, he would visit Cuttack to convince locals to join him and extend their support to the bandh.

It is learnt that Ruchika’s mother will accompany Akshay during his visits to different colleges to get the support of students on July 19.

The outfit would also stage a sit-in in front of the Directorate of Police (DG) office on July 17 demanding action against the seniors responsible for Ruchika’s death.

Akhaya Kumar said, “Naba Nirman Samiti and Naba Nirman Krushak Sanghathan have called upon political outfits and every responsible citizen of Odisha to come forward and raise voice against state government’s failure to give justice to the victim.”
