Bruises, also known as contusions, are common injuries that occur when small blood vessels under the skin are damaged and blood leaks into the surrounding tissue. Bruises can vary in size and appearance and may be accompanied by pain, swelling, and tenderness.

While bruises typically heal on their own within a few days to a week, there are a few Ayurvedic remedies that may help reduce swelling and improve healing time.

Turmeric: Turmeric is a spice commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine to reduce inflammation and improve healing. Turmeric mixed with water or coconut oil should be applied to affected areas in order to get rid of bruises.

It's important to note that these remedies may not work for everyone and that it's always best to consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new treatment. If you have a large or painful bruise, or if you have any underlying health conditions that may be causing your bruises, it's especially important to seek medical attention.
