And finally, the day is here. The wait of billions of Indians and Hindus for thousands of years will finally end today with the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Among the billions of Hindus is Bimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, the ‘King of Ayodhya’.

Mishra, who is also a member of the Ram Janmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust, is super elated ahead of the inauguration ceremony.

He had never in his wildest dream thought that the Ram Temple would be built in his lifetime. But with Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony a few hours to go, he cannot believe that all his dreams have turned into reality and the temple town is all set to regain its lost grandeur.

“I never thought I would witness Lord Ram’s ‘pran pratishtha’ in my lifetime,” TOI quoted Mishra.

“Ayodhya udaseen thi, iski shree chali gait hi (Ayodhya had turned dull, all its glory had faded away). It is said that after questions were raised on her integrity after her return from Lanka, Mata Sita had cursed Ayodhya that no one would remain happy in the temple town. She again went into exile. It seems that the curse has been removed now,” Mishra added.

With the inauguration of the Ram Temple, Ayodhya is becoming one of the greatest places in the world. All aircraft landing at Maharishi Valmiki International Ayodhya Airport (MVIAA) have full occupancy. It is believed, that at least over one lakh pilgrims would visit Ayodhya every day after the ‘pran pratishtha’.
