Symptoms of malaria to watch out for

Fever

Fever is the first common symptom of Malaria and usually, it comes in cycles. There is a fluctuation in temperature and the spikes can be irregular making it difficult to diagnose.

Chills

In Malaria, fever is often accompanied by chills. Many times these chills are severe leading to shaking and shivering.

Constant headache

Constant headaches along with chills and high fever are the most common symptoms of Malaria. The headaches are sometimes very strong making it unbearable for the patients to cope with and sometimes it is just a throbbing pain that does not seem to go away.

Sweating

If you are sweating excessively then it is one of the symptoms of Malaria. It usually is accompanied by high fever and sometimes this sweating is so profuse that it soaks the clothes and hair of the patient completely.

Fatigue

Extreme fatigue or tiredness is one of the symptoms of Malaria. Sometimes the patient of this disease does not suffer from any of the other symptoms like fever, sweating, headache, or chills but simply feels very tired and this tiredness persists for weeks after the disease has been treated completely.
