Urfi released a statement that read, “The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn’t extend the timing, hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. We shot the remaining part the next day so it was all sorted.”

Meanwhile, the Goregaon Police arrested a man for giving rape and death threats to social media sensation Urfi Javed. The accused has been identified as Naveen Giri.

An FIR has been registered under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment), 354(D) (stalking), 509, 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC as well as IT Act.

According to police, Naveen used to send rape and death threats to the Bigg Boss OTT fame through WhatsApp.

Before her trip to UAE, Urfi had revealed that she is restricted from travelling to Dubai. She later clarified that it was not for her revealing and weird outfit, but because she didn’t have a surname.

According to media reports, Urfi had said, “Actually, the Dubai government said that Indian passports with single names (not having a surname) can’t get Visa. I don’t have a surname actually. I just use 'Javed' just like that. I don’t really have a surname. I never had a surname. I only have Uorfi written on my passport. So, that’s the problem. But, I think now it’s amended.”

On the work front, the 'Bepannaah' actor was last seen in the reality TV show 'MTV Splitsvilla season 14 hosted by the gorgeous Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani.
