Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most celebrated Indian actors with a fandom sprawling globally. Often dubbed as BTown's Badshah, SRK has struggled a lot and made high efforts to achieve what he enjoys today. Fans are well aware of his journey and illustrious career that made him King Khan.

Be it romance, action, comedy or any other genre, SRK has lived up to the expectations of his fans. However, he rules the hearts of his fans, especially female admirers, as the 'King of Romance' with his lover boy image. But, did you know Shah Rukh Khan is scared of attachments and what inspired or pushed him to become successful?

Here we bring two throwback videos that have resurfaced on social media in which SRK himself revealed his fear for attachments and how he became successful..

In one video, the Jawan actor talks about being scared of attachments. In the video, he says, "I am scared of attachments. Because I believe, every attachment that I have, will finally break my heart or leave me. And... the only time I cry is when I lose the people I love through life and death or just because they are not attached to me anymore."

In the second video, SRK talks about how he became successful. The Dunki actor says, "At an early age after my parents died, I equated poverty with failure. I just didn't want to be poor. So, when I got a chance to act in films, it wasn't out of any creative desire. I say this honestly. It was purely out of the fear of failure and poverty. Most of the films I signed were discards of better-known actors and the producers couldn't find anyone else to do them. I did them all to make sure that I was working to avoid unemployment. The timing or something was right, I worked very hard, there were other people around it and I became a big star. The films became big hits."

Further, he added, "Which means, sometimes our success is not the direct results of actions. And, let nobody tell you that, success sometimes just happens. It is accidental. So I believe the true path to success is through the fear of failure. If you aren't scared enough of failing, you are unlikely to succeed."
