Shatrughan Sinha admitted to hospital: Has Sonakshi Sinha- Zaheer Iqbal's wedding affected him so badly?

Sonakshi Sinha and Iqbal Zaheer married on June 23 in Mumbai in the presence of close friends and family members. Reportedly, the family of Sona was not happy with this interfaith marriage for some reason.

Although both Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were a part of the marriage ceremony and did arrive at her wedding reception they did not seem actively involved in the entire process.

Just 5 days from this marriage now Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Sonakshi Sinha and her husband were spotted visiting the veteran Bollywood star at the hospital. A video of the same recently went viral with many people speculating that Sona might be pregnant as the newly wedded couple avoided the paparazzi.

But the fact is that the Dabangg actress had come to visit her father in the hospital who had been admitted for his routine check-up.

Shatrughan Sinha was busy in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections

The Kala Patthar actor has been busy in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 that were conducted in May-June 2024 and campaigned aggressively as the candidate from TMC in West Bengal and won his seat.

The wedding of Sonakshi and Iqbal took place almost a few weeks after the results were announced.

He was so busy campaigning that Shatrughan Sinha was simply unaware that Sonakshi had finalised the wedding date and that even wedding invitations had been sent to friends and close family members. So the last few months have been quite hectic mentally and physically for the aging star which can be one reason he decided to go through a proper check-up.

It may take some time for the Sinha family to accept Zaheer Iqbal in their household. But Sonakshi Sinha is on cloud nine as can be seen from the video clips during the marriage and the videos that followed.
