Sonakshi Sinha soon-to-be Mrs Zaheer Iqbal! Shatrughan Sinha 'still waiting to be informed,' brother Luv says...

For a couple of days ago, reports have been doing rounds that Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is getting married to her longtime partner, actor Zaheer Iqbal, soon. Reportedly, the duo is all set to tie the knot on June 23 in Mumbai. Even the probable guest list has surfaced recently which includes the dashing Salman Khan, Sonakshi's Heeramandi costars and many others. However, the Dabangg star's father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha is 'still waiting to be informed.'

Shatrughan Sinha was busy with the general elections and is currently in Delhi. Recently, while speaking to Times Now, the veteran actor said that he hasn't yet discussed his daughter's wedding plans with anyone.

He was quoted as saying, "Main bhi utna hi jaanta hoon jitna media mein maine padha hai (l only know what I’ve read in the news).”

Further, the actor-turned-politician said that as and when Sona informs him and his wife Poonam about her wedding plans, the two will bless the couple.

Furthermore, Shatrughan said that he trusts his daughter’s judgement completely.

"She would never make an extra-constitutional or illegal decision. As a consenting adult, she has the right to make her own decisions," he added.
However, he expressed his despair saying, “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (Nowadays, children don’t seek permission; they simply inform their parents). We are waiting to be informed.”

A News18 report claims that Sona and Zaheer's wedding will not be an intimate affair as the list of guests includes some of the big names in the industry. Apart from the close friends of the duo Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan, and Manisha Koirala will grace the wedding.
On the other hand, when Sonakshi's brother Luv was asked about his sister's wedding, he said that he was out of Mumbai and had nothing to say about it. He also said that he has no involvement in the matter.

For the unversed, Sonakshi and Zaheer have been reportedly dating for a few years. Though the duo have remained tight-lipped about their relationship in public, their social media posts for each other and appearances on various occasions have left fans speculating about their love story. Reportedly, the duo will tie the knot on June 23.

Well, fans need to wait for an official confirmation from either of the duo.
