Janhvi Kapoor replaces Sai Pallavi in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana? Furious fans demand petition against director

Until now, the reports strongly indicated that Sai Pallavi will be portraying the character of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. And fans had accepted the pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai as Ram and Sita respectively.

However, the recent buzz that says Janhvi Kapoor has replaced Sai as Sita has irritated most of the Bollywood fans.

In no way they are interested in watching the Dhadak actress play the epic character of Sita as most of them opined that Janhvi’s casting would ruin the entire anticipation for watching the movie. A few users even said that it would be the worst-ever casting in Bolly history. Furious by this news, a user said that if it does happen then there is a possibility that people will come out in the streets against the movie.

Bollywood fans who are furious with this buzz and have said that they do not want a repetition of Adipurush have also said that they will start a petition against the director so that he is not allowed to do the movie.

Although most of the Bollywood fans have not watched Sai Pallavi’s movie they have accepted her as Sita. But Janhvi Kapoor is known for her glamorous avatar and in no way can they accept her playing this revered character who is considered a reincarnation of Goddess Lakshmi.

It was always between Alia Bhatt and Sai Pallavi

It seems though that the reports are not true because Bollywood Hungama has quoted that Janhvi Kapoor was never considered or approached for the role. The makers had already decided that it would be either Alia Bhatt or Sai Pallavi.

The leading entertainment portal quoted that Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol have been locked for the roles of Ram, Sita, Raavan, and Hanuman respectively. Ramayana will be made in multiple parts and its first part will be released during Diwali 2025 weekend.

The team is expected to wrap up the shooting by the middle of this year.
