Similarly, Varun and Alia joined hands for another Karan Johar film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ which was also a sleeper hit. Meanwhile, a deleted scene from the movie ‘SOTY’ has resurfaced online after a long time and is generating a lot of interest among fans.
The scene shows Alia (Shanaya) and Varun (Rohan Nanda) confronting each other after the former falls in love with his friend Sidharth (Abhimanyu). Although Shanaya is shown to be dating Rohan from the beginning of the film, she gradually falls for Abhimanyu.
This creates uproar between the three with Shanaya finally settling with Abhimanyu. The leaked scene shows Varun and Shanaya reaching a conclusion about their relationship and finally hugging it out.
A fan shared the video on Instagram with a caption that reads, “This closure was much needed. Why @karanjohar why? 🥺😭 Why did they ever delete this scene.”
