The controversy over a sequence in superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan’s ‘Besharam Rang’ song continues to trigger outrage as fans trended #BoycottPathaan on Twitter once again.

Activists, members of many political and religious groups expressed dissatisfaction and continued their demand to ban the movie despite CBF suggesting notable changes in the movie, including slashing of objectionable shots in Besharam Rang.

Amid controversies and blacklash, the Central Board of Film Certification (Cbfc) suggested the makers for the notable changes in the movie and the song. However, reports suggest that the colour of Deepika’s bikini remains untouched which has further escalated the outrage.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his comeback with Pathaan and was expecting a huge blockbuster. But, the demand for ban and boycott might hamper the box office collections of the movie as it happened to Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.

The Boycott trend affected Aamir Khan’s movie so much that it failed to create any magic like his previous movies PK, Ghajini and 3 Idiots.

Meanwhile, actor Suniel Shetty met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and sought help over the Boycott trends on social media. He also assured that 99% of the film industry doesn’t do drugs or wrong work.

On the other hand, both Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have remained tight-lipped on the controversy surrounding the song.

The trailer of the movie will release on January 10 even as the second song of the movie ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ is accused of being copied from Karam ki Talwaar from Arjun: The Warrior Prince.

However, die-hard SRK fans have challenged those trending #BoycottPathaan and promised to make the film the biggest hit of the year.
