After Ranbir Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and Heena Khan, actress Shraddha Kapoor has also been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with its probe into the Mahadev App.

Both Ranbir and Shraddha have been directed to appear before the ED today and are likely to be questioned over the gaming app that allegedly provides a platform for illegal betting.

However, if reports are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor has sought two weeks’ time while it is not known if Shraddha will appear before the central agency today.

Popular comedian Kapil Sharma, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actress Huma Qureshi, and Telly queen Heena Khan have also been summoned by the ED that probes financial frauds. All of them have reportedly sought two week’s time to appear before the ED.

However, it has been made clear that they were not accused in the case, but will only be questioned over the mode and flow of payment allegedly done to them by the app’s promoters.

Both, Ranbir and Shraddha have done several ads promoting the gaming app and have received a large amount of money. So, the ED will question them about what they know about the mode and flow of payment.

Worth mentioning, the company’s promoters, Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, are from Bhilai in Chhattisgarh and run their operations in Dubai.

Chandrakar’s Rs 200-crore wedding in the UAE, entirely paid in cash, had brought the Mahadev app under the ED scanner.
