Youth found dead under suspicious circumstances in Cuttack; family suspects murder

A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a pool of blood near his house at Biswanathpur village under Jagatpur police limits in Cuttack. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Bhoi.

With blood oozing out from Ashok's head, his family members suspect that he might have been murdered. Though the family feigned ignorance about the motive, they have demanded a detailed investigation into the matter.

"My brother did not have any enmity with anyone. He was very simple and used to remain busy in his own life. Those involved in the murder should be arrested," said Charulata Samal, deceased Ashok's sister.

Sanjay Das, brother of the deceased said, "His brother was sitting in a Mutt and we saw him lying in a pool of blood. We want the immediate arrest of the culprits. We cannot say whether it was related to the polls."

The police have initiated an investigation. However, no comments could be obtained from the senior officials in connection with the youth's mysterious death.
