Producer Pramod Swain paid Rs 33 lakh to Archana, her husband: ED’s chargesheet

In yet another startling revelation in the sensational lady blackmailer and honey trapping case, producer Pramod Swain had paid a sum of Rs 33 lakh to Archana Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand.

The shocking claim has been made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in its chargesheet based on the statements recorded by producer Pramod Swain.

The producer had transferred the sum of Rs 33 lakh to Archana and her husband to compromise the case registered by Archana against him in 2017. The entire money was transferred to the Nag couple’s account in three installments.

It is pertinent to mention here that Archana Nag had registered a sexual harassment case against producer Pramod Swain at Mahila Police station in Bhubaneswar on November 16, 2017. The next day a sum of Rs 2 lakh was deposited in the account of Archana and Rs 8 in the account of Jagabandhu on November 17, 2017.

After the money was deposited, Archana had withdrawn the case she had filed against the producer. As per the account statement, a cash of Rs 3 lakh was deposited in Jagabandhu’s account on December 5, 2017, Rs 5 lakh on December 8 and Rs 1,70,000 on December 22, 2017. Similarly, Rs 2 lakh was deposited in the account of Archana Nag on December 8, 2017. A total of Rs 21,70,000 was deposited in these dates.

From Archana’s account, Rs 10 lakh was transferred to the account of accused Khageswar on December 8, 2017.
