FIR against actress Varsha Priyadarshini for duping woman for job

Actress Varsha Priyadarshini seems to have courted another controversy after an FIR was lodged against her and her associate Ayushi at Saheednagar Police Station in Bhubaneswar.

The FIR has been filed by Kalyani Nayak from Satyakali slum under Saheednagar police limits who alleged that Varsha and Ayushi has duped her of Rs 30,000 on the pretext of arranging a job for her in a jewellery shop.

As per the FIR, When Kalyani asked for Varsha’s help, the latter assured her a job at a local jewellery shop. But the actress demanded Rs 50,000 in return which Kalyani denied. However, she gave Rs 30,000 to Varsha for that job.

Kalyani alleged, once Ayushi received the money, both Ayushi and Varsha went unreachable and never picked up the phone.

A dejected Kalyani finally sought the help of police after failing to secure neither the job nor her money back.

No comments could be obtained from the police or Varsha in this connection.

It is pertinent to mention here that Actress Varsha and her celebrity MP husband Anubhav Mohanty have been in a dirty family dispute spanning over a year.

Recently, the Cuttack sub-divisional judicial magistrate court (SDJM) had ordered Varsha to hand over the keys of her in-law’s house to Anubhav Mohanty or his advocate by November 2.

The court had also ordered if the actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty or his advocate does not receive the key, she will have to deposit them in court.
