New Delhi: The CAG report on the controversial Devas-Antrix deal which had slammed the Department of Space for policy violations, will be taken up by the newly constituted Public Accounts Committee, it was decided today.

The latest CAG report on revenue losses to the Railways will also be taken by the PAC in the coming days, it was decided in the first meeting of the newly-constituted committee here.

The Comptroller and Auditor General had come down heavily on the Department of Space, particularly on its former Secretary G Madhavan Nair, in the controversial Antrix-Devas deal alleging numerous rules and policies were violated and facts concealed to favour a private company.

PAC`s controversial draft report on 2G scam which was critical of the PMO, the Prime Minister and others, also finds place in the "unfinished agenda" of the previous committee which has been "carried forward". The report was `rejected` by the majority of members in the 21-member Committee in April last year during a chaotic meeting.

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar had returned the controversial draft report to the committee and PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi had placed it as an "unfinished agenda" before the committee constituted on May 1, 2011. The report was circulated again to the members of the then PAC in October last year.

The CAG report on management of defence estates, civil aviation and KG Basin have also been carried forward as unfinished agenda.
