Slamming the state Cabinet’s decision on providing reservation for students of government-run schools, the BJP State Secretary Lekhashree Samantasinghar questioned the need for a separate category of reservation. She raised several questions over the separate quota system for admission into medical and engineering colleges.

The CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams will begin from May 4, 2021. The announcement was made by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today. As per the announcement, there are plans to finish the exams by June 10. Practical exams are scheduled to be held from March 1st. There are plans to publish the result by July 15.
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has extended the deadline for FASTag till February 15, 2021. As per the earlier order, it was mandatory for all vehicles to have a FASTag by January 1, 2021 failing which the violators will have to pay heavy penalties. The FASTag initiative has been introduced to ensure cashless transactions at toll gates.
