Patna: Opposition RJD and Bihar Youth Congress today slammed the state administration for allegedly preventing Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan from coming here to promote his forthcoming film `Don 2 - The King Is Back`, a charge denied by the Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi.

"Tight security arrangements have been in place and administration has been ready to receive SRK... it is because of bad weather and poor visibility," Modi said adding SKR`s visit here was a matter of pride for people of the state.

"It shows the inefficiency of the administration which prevented the superstar from coming here," state RJD President Ramchandra Purve said. Bihar Youth Congress President Lalan Kumar alleged that the incident had exposed the state government`s claim for better security and law and order in the state. Shah Rukh Khan`s visit to the state for promotion of the film was postponed yesterday triggering controversy.
