Priyanka Chopra Thrashes Entertainment Industry For Its Hypocrisy: Here’s What She Has To Say

Priyanka Chopra is known for a lot more reasons apart from being a famous Bollywood and Hollywood actress. The global icon has always been the one to speak her heart out. When the “Baywatch” actress appeared recently at the Beautycon event in Los Angeles, USA she did not mince words while attracting the attention of the audience on the double standards that are prevalent in the entertainment industry.

Priyanka Laments Lack Of Opportunities For Females

The 37-year-old actress stressed on the importance of women to join hands and support each other. According to Priyanka Chopra, the opportunities for women in the entertainment industry are limited which is why they keep on elbowing each other. She stressed on the double standards that are prevalent in the industry.

PeeCee says, “I've had so many times where I'm doing interviews and people always ask me, 'You're doing a movie with a female actor. Did you guys get along? Were there catfights? But when it comes to boys, they say, 'Oh, my gosh. That's a bromance, and everyone works so well.'"

Interestingly, instead of just pointing faults in the system, Priyanka suggested that the creation of more opportunities for women will be a solution and will enable the growth of “sisterhood” in the industry. According to her, it will also put women in positions of power.

The “Quantico” star is constantly in limelight either for her work or relationship with her hubby Nick Jonas. She said that since women are 50% of the population they should represent every field.
