Mumbai: Veteran actors Deepti Naval and Farooque Sheikh, who have teamed up for a film 'Listen Amaya' after 28 years, say that the chemistry between them remains intact.

Deepti and Farooque have worked together in films like 'Chashme Buddoor', 'Saath Saath', 'Katha', 'Kisi Se Na Kehna' and others. And now they have come together for debutant Avinash Kumar Singh.

"With the number of films we have done, there is a comfort zone between us and it becomes easy for us to emote on screen," Sheikh told reporters here at the first look of 'Listen Amaya'.

"The chemistry is there between just like we had earlier. The moment the camera is on it comes naturally. There is a comfort zone as we have worked together in the past," Deepti said.

Sheikh is all praises for Deepti. "She keeps us on your toes. She delivers solidly. There are very few actresses in the industry who have done a range of work like her," he said.

Deepti says, "He has been a convincing actor from the beginning and has not changed."

The film is about the relationship between a woman essayed by Deepti and her daughter played by Swara Bhaskar of 'Tanu Weds Manu' fame and what happens when a mother falls in love with a man played by Sheikh.

Deepti denied reports that it is a bold film. "The film is not bold...there are no bold scenes or content in the film as such. It is a subtle, sensitive film about the bond between a mother and her daughter. And the daughter's possessiveness after a man enters her mother's life thinking what if the other man deletes the memories about the father," Deepti said.

The film is set to release on February 1.
