After joining the BJP, an activist said, "We have faith in the BJP leadership and Modi Guarantee. They will listen to our problems and carry out development in our area. We joined the party because of the development agenda of the NDA government.”

A senior BJD leader of the locality who joined the BJP said, "We were neglected by the BJD leaders even though we worked for the party for many years. Upset, we joined the BJP.”

Speaking to the media, Baijayant Panda said, "We had a meeting with party workers of eight panchayats of zone-2 in Aul constituency. There is massive public opinion in favour of the BJP to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister for the third time and to help the NDA cross the target of 400 seats including the Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat. The BJP will win in Aul and Odisha will have a double-engine government.”

He added, "We had a discussion on the election roadmap as many prominent Central BJP leaders are coming to campaign here. Lakhs of our party workers are committed that they would convert the public opinion to votes.”
