Odisha CM’s Shocking Revelation: 100 People Killed During BJD Rule In Naveen Patnaik’s Hinjili AC

BJD supremo and former CM Naveen Patnaik’s Hinjili constituency witnessed as many as 100 murders during his rule. Yes, you heard it right!
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the House on Monday that in the 24 years of BJD rule, at least 100 murder cases were reported in Naveen Patnaik’s home constituency.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi made the shocking revelations in the Assembly in reply to a question by BJP lawmaker Pradyumna Kumar Nayak’s question.
Over the years, Ganjam has allegedly turned into a den of criminals operating as political activists, but the staggering number of murders has come as a shocker for all.
As per CM Mohan Majhi’s reply, Hinjili constituency witnessed as many as 100 murders while 328 people have been arrested in connection with different cases. Shockingly, out of the 100 cases, there are only 2 cases where the accused has been convicted.
As per reports, 69 cases are still pending in courts while the accused were acquitted in 22 cases. CM Majhi also threw light on police encounters in Ganjam district.
Ganjam district witnessed at least 37 cases involving an exchange of fire between the police and the criminals.
In the 37 cases, at least 63 cops have sustained bullet injuries while 41 criminals were gunned down in encounter,” the CM gave a written reply in the Assembly.
Meanwhile, no comments of the BJD could be obtained over the CM's reply in the House.
