Odisha to repair damaged city roads, unfinished drainage work before Durga Puja
Due to continuous rainfall, several city roads in Odisha have been badly damaged, leaving potholes and broken surfaces. In addition, some drainage projects remain half-completed, while in certain areas, drains are lying uncovered, posing risks to the public.
To ensure safety and smooth movement during the festive season, all road repair and drainage works will be completed before Durga Puja, informed Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra on Friday.
According to the Minister, the repair drive will be carried out with the cooperation of all concerned departments.
