Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse: ‘Polluted Water & Toxic Gas’ Trigger Concerns As Workers Await Rescue

A new life support pipeline of 6-inch diameter was laid by the rescue personnel to provide medicine, anti-depressants and dry fruits to the 41 workers trapped inside the tunnel. The Ministry of Road and Transport has asserted that there is no danger to the lives of those trapped inside the tunnel.
