Railway Engg Body Proposes 11 Measures To Improve Rail Safety Nationwide After Odisha Train Tragedy

The All India Railway Engineers Federation has made 11 recommendations for improving railway safety in the nation in the wake of the Bahanaga train catastrophe in Balasore district, which claimed 291 lives and injured hundreds of others. In its suggestion, the federation has given more emphasis to safety than punctuality.
