Bengal Panchayat Elections: 31 Deaths Reported So Far As Violence Intensifies, BJP Demands Action

Fresh incidents of violence surfaced from several areas of West Bengal during voting for the three-tier panchayat system in the state. The total death count since the announcement of polling dates on June 8 has risen to 31, with 19 recorded till Friday evening and 12 added since Saturday morning.
