As if the soaring temperature was not enough, the hour-long frequent unscheduled power cuts have made lives miserable.

In Khordha town, the unscheduled power cuts have come as a double whammy for the residents who are already struggling to cope with the scorching heat. 

While the frequent power cuts have robbed the villagers of the much needed sleep after a hard day, what has come as a double whammy for the village folks are the unbelievably high electricity bills that has further added to their woes.
