Forest officials arrested a poacher on Friday for killing a leopard and taking a photograph with carcass. The issue came to light after he posted a photograph on his social media account. The accused is reportedly a resident of Godipalli village in Nayagarh district.

Swain along with his friend killed a leopard cub at Banijhari forest and clicked selfies with the carcass. The matter came to the fore after he posted the selfie on his social media handles after four years. 

Not long ago, Gangaram Singh alias Khukun terrorised the jungle world and its human protectors as a ruthless and elusive poacher.
