Bear trapped in poacher’s snare

Aska: A bear got trapped in snare laid by poacher to catch boar at Budhamba village under Polasara block in Ganjam district on Sunday morning.

According to source, the bear sustained injuries on its waist after the poacher cut the snare.

Meanwhile, locals expressed dissatisfaction as no forest officials reached spot despite being informed about the incident.
