First phase cut-off marks percentages for Plus II admission have been out. The period of admission is likely to get an extension due to the prevailing flood situation in the State.
The merit list for the first phase of admission will be released on August 17 and the first phase of admission will start from August 19 to 25. Similarly, the second merit list will be released on September 2 and spot selection will be done on September 13, 2022.

As per the latest notification released by DHSE, guardians/parents of shortlisted candidates can also be present for admittance at the institutions in cases where the candidates failed to arrive at the spot.
The admission for the shortlisted candidates will be commenced between September 14 and 21. The second phase of the merit list will be out on September 27 while the selected students will get admission between September 29 and October 1.
The government has decided to increase 38,000 seats in Arts, 13,000 seats in Science and 3,900 seats in the Commerce stream.
Students have been advised to refrain from doing any deal with any private agency or agent and give them documents for admission.
The last date for submission of applications by the institutions has been extended till 6 pm of July 28. It said the move followed request from 'a good numbers of principals of Higher Secondary Schools.'
