CHSE Odisha Plus-II admission process begins

Bhubaneswar: The process for admission into Plus-II courses of various junior colleges and higher secondary schools in Odisha began today.

Students who have cleared their matriculation exam can apply online for admissions into Science, Commerce and Arts streams by filling up Common Application Form (CAF), a notification issued by Directorate of Higher Secondary Education said.

Application fee for General candidates is Rs 300 while that for SC/ST category is Rs 200.

Students can apply to colleges of their choice by logging into www.samsodisha.gov.in. The last date of filing application online is June 17 (11:45 PM).

After filing up the online forms, students will have to submit a printed copy of online CAF, required documents and fees at the nearest Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Resource Centre (SRC) by June 18 (5PM).

The Department of Higher Education (DHE) would publish the first merit list on June 23. Admission of students cleared in first selection will be done between June 25 and June 28. Second merit list will be published on July 3 and admission will be done between July 4 and July 6.
