The Odisha Government on Wednesday extended the partial lockdown, imposed to contain the spread of Covid infection in the State, till July 16 (6 am), informed the State Chief Secretary, Suresh Mohapatra.
Though the Covid-19 graphs in majority of districts in the State have waned, the situation is still far from satisfactory in some districts, especially in the coastal belts of Odisha.
Movement of buses for public transport has been restricted in the new unlocks plans. Similarly, taxis (including auto rickshaws and cycle rickshaws) and services of cab aggregators have been prohibited.
