Amidst rumours regarding unlock guidelines spreading like wildfire in the state, Odisha Special Relief Commissioner, Pradeep Jena on Sunday (June 13), requested people to refrain from sharing false information on the internet. Taking to his social media account, the Special Relief Commissioner stated that neither his office nor the state government has issued any guidelines for lockdown or unlock effective from 17th June 2021.
He clarified that such information floating on the internet is fake and asked people not to be misled by such false news. The senior official clarified that Special Relief Commissioner’s office will issue the required guidelines at appropriate time. SRC Pradeep Jena also warned miscreants to refrain from spreading incorrect information on social media.
He has also urged Odisha DGP to carry out an investigation into the matter to ward off unnecessary confusions in public.
