The party has fielded a first year MBA student of Khallikote Autonomous College as their Mayoral candidate for Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC)
Candidate contesting for Councillor or Corporator post in NACs/Municipalities having a population up to 50,000 can make a maximum expenditure of Rs 50,000 while the amount is fixed at Rs 2 for chairperson or Mayor aspirant in the same area.
As per the reservation list, 668 wards out of total 1756 are unreserved while 122 are reserved for SC, 171 for SC Women, 49 for ST and 133 for ST Women. A total of 613 wards have been reserved for women.

As per the gazette notification, the Mayor’s office in Berhampur and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporations will be reserved for women candidates. However, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) will have an un-reserved Mayor office.
