The state has recorded a growth of 29.59 per cent in OGST (Odisha GST) collection till August of the current financial year in comparison to the same period of last fiscal (2021-22).
The total collection of VAT (petrol and liquor) stood at Rs 853.43 crore in January 2022 as against Rs 835.23 crore in the corresponding month of the previous year, with a growth rate of 2.18 per cent.
The collection of Odisha Goods and Services Tax (OGST) in December 2021 is estimated at Rs. 1,118.65 crore, a growth of 46.18 per cent, over Rs. 765.26 crore during December 2020.
The OGST collection during the month was Rs 1,157.69 crore against a collection of Rs 681.96 crore during November 2020.
