Going by GFS model of IMD, cyclone Sitrang may make landfall in Odisha. However, IMD is yet to make any forecast in this regard.
The IMD in its latest forecast clearly mentioned that the low pressure formed today is likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over eastcentral and adjoining South east Bay of Bengal around October 22.

The Depression is likely to intensify into a Cyclonic storm around December 3 and it will move northwestwards and reach north Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast around December 4 morning.
