The administration has put up barricades on both ends of the bridge, restricting tourists from walking on it. 

Three minor boys were swept away while taking bath in Nagabali River near the hanging bridge, Rayagada. Immediately, their father jumped to save the trio but he himself got stuck as water flow was heavy. Soon, the fire services personnel rushed to the spot and managed to rescue father and two sons. Efforts are on to trace another boy who is still missing.
