Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in a Maoist ambush at Patadhara reserve forest under Nuapada's Boden block on Tuesday. Seven other CRPF personnel were also injured in the attack.
The Kalahandi Police and CRPF rushed to the spot upon receiving the information and started an investigation.
Maoists reportedly set ablaze more than five vehicles engaged in construction work of a canal at Pipalkhuta village in Chhattisgarh on the bordering areas of Malkangiri. They have also abducted the supervisor of the construction firm.
